The story of how a few volunteers on Sunset Boulevard turned an empty lot into a place to eat, talk, and belong.
Genevieve's Garden began as a simple response to a neighbourhood need: if there's food, hand it out; if there's space, open it up. Five years in, it's more than a meal provider — it's a sanctuary for anyone in need, including the homeless and low-income individuals who call Hollywood home.
Under the leadership of JL, the garden extends its mission into full, practical support — a listening ear, a warm plate, and a hand with whatever comes next. JL is known for his approachability and readiness to help, and that ethos is the garden's north star: community care, offered without conditions.

The numbers behind the garden are modest by design. A handful of hours, a few loaves of bread, and a table that's never turned anyone away.
